These Hope for Harmony placemats are incredibly special and one-of-a-kind.
While shopping at a silk factory in Chiang Mai, Thailand Jamie met an amazing artisan named Deang with no hands. He paints beautiful textiles entirely by MOUTH. Jamie has made these gorgeous textiles into placemats and in an effort to help support Deang’s miraculous artistry, 10% of the proceeds from every placemat sold will go directly back to Deang. This is part of Steel Feather’s Outreach program called Hope for Harmony. This program celebrates those overcoming adversity.
Steel Feathers is a socially conscience business. The textiles have been carefully curated to help support sustainable and healthy living in impoverished villages and communities.
